KICKBOXING Don’t think this class is a wimpy aerobics class. This class is an intense (but, catered to all fitness levels) sweat pouring hour. Prior to class hands must be wrapped. We start out with jump rope followed by shadow boxing and static stretching. We head to the bags for 6 continuous kickboxing rounds. 3 sets of combos on the left side, 3 sets of combos on the right side. Then everyone hits the floor for pushups and abs. Be aware that this class is addicting. No experience is required as the staff at The Sweat Shop is prepared to teach you what you need to know! Put on some gloves and get ready to release some aggression!! STRENGTH & CONDITIONING Strength and conditioning is a 45-60 min resistance training class. All exercises are performed using resistance bands. The body is separated into 2 parts, upper and lower. During the upper body training we focus on chest, back, shoulders, triceps, and biceps. Lower body consists of quadriceps, hamstrings, adductors, abductors, and glutes. This is a great class for all fitness levels.
